My husband and I stayed at this B&B while traveling through NZ. Just as all the reviews have said, Margaret is probably one of the sweetest women you’ll ever meet. She’s lived in that house since she was 4 years old and shared all sorts of interesting stories about her childhood and the area. Margaret and her late husband started this B&B many, many years ago and were the first in the area to do so. It’s obvious she loves meeting new people and keeps her price modest and fair.
The bed was very comfortable and, although the house is older, we had everything we needed. This experience evoked that warm, “homey” feeling I used to get as a kid when I’d stay at my grandma’s house. This is what B&Bs are all about!
